This Physical Alternatives course is specifically designed for law enforcement and security professionals. It prepares participants to make informed, justifiable, and ethically sound decisions about physically engaging in high-risk emergency situations.
The training emphasizes when and how to appropriately use physical intervention in scenarios where there is a risk of great bodily harm or death.
Participants will learn how to assess threats, determine when physical engagement is both necessary and legally defensible, and apply effective control techniques to stop a threat while minimizing harm.


The course includes hands-on instruction in self-protection, subject control, and threat-neutralization tactics, all grounded in legal and ethical considerations.
